The Collaborative Qulit is all about bringing awareness to our fragile marine ecosystem, while creating something very special from Shweshwe fabrics, with everyone getting invovled!
Trish will guide you through what's required, how you can contribute and the timeline.
The finished quilt will be unveiled on Fabrica's stand at the Festival of Quilts 2027, before travelling to Cape Town for exhibition at the marine conference in October 2027.
It's going to be awesome. Come and join in!

Our quilt will feature approximately 150 ocean squares and 50 land squares, all made using authentic Shweshwe fabrics.
